How to Complete the Quick Store Setup - Additional Article!
The 'Quick Store Setup' is optional and is an alternative to using the main SCOTSY dashboard at
'Artist Vendor Dashboard > Settings'. You will automatically be taken to the Quick Store Setup page when you access your pages after your membership is approved for the first time only.
We recommend you complete what you can. And then follow up later, to do the rest in the main Vendor dashboard settings. (Saving for later in the main Vendor dashboard settings and returning when you've worked out the information required, etc).
Let's start with the Quick Store Setup page - image below, and begin the Store Setup:
Click on the 'Let's Go' black button to add your data using the Quick Store Setup, or the 'Not Right Now' button, to close Quick Store Setup down. If you choose the latter you will be taken to your Shop Manager Dashboard instead, for you to complete everything in your own time there, as explained above.
Completing Quick 'Store Setup':
- Add a Store Logo image - this is best a headshot of you, or your logo if you use one:
Size: 125 pixels by 125 pixels.
This image is used in your dashboard and also on your Store Page. - Add a Store Banner Image - This is your Store page banner. See an example of a Store Page at
https://scotsy.com/artist/testartist/
Store banner image Size: 1500 pixels by 400 pixels.
If your image size varies from this it will be shaped to fit but might not appear as you would like! - Next, the following data boxes should be preloaded with the details from your Registration form:
- Shop name
- Store Email
- Store Phone
- Store Address details - Store location: Ignore the 'Find location Box' and the 'Store location map'. We do not use this as it is always just Scotland that applies.
- Shop Description - add a description for your shop or 'leave until later', and add in full dashboard
Artist Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Store input section - Press Continue
- Payment Setup section:
Enter 'Preferred Payment method' from the dropdown - there is only Stripe currently
You can now 'Connect with Stripe' by clicking on the blue button. Alternatively, you can again do this later in Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Payment
