2. Adding a Grouped Product  'Other' menu items etc.

A Grouped product is a collection of related products, that can be purchased individually. Also, those related products need to be Simple products. For example a "Princes Street Gardens Prints Set" can be made up of individual prints as follows:

• Pathway through the Gardens
  
• The Gardens and the Bandstand
• The Castle from the Gardens.

Adding Products - Main Entry Boxes

A Grouped product is created in much the same way as a simple product by selecting 'Grouped Product, after clicking on the yellow box arrow (see below):

Grouped products are lists of other Simple products in your shop and therefore do not have prices or an SKU stock number of their own.

You still have a Product Title, Short Description and Description (long description) for your grouped product. Also, images, Categories, Tags and Catalogue Visibility.

'Other' menu item: Grouped Products

Notably, the Grouped Product selection adds a Grouped Products menu item to the standard Other menu bar items shown in the image below:

The Grouped Product has only one entry box to fill in, where you enter at least three characters from the Title of your first Simple product title and you are offered matches from your product list. Click on the product from the list that you want to add. Similarly, add a second, third and so on.

To delete a product added in error, click on the 'x'.

Thats it. Now click on the 'Draft' button to save your work.
