Adding Products - Add-ons

Art Product Add-ons

Product Add-ons allows you to add paid or free options to your Art Products using what are called "Add-on fields". There are several Add-on field types including:

• radio buttons
• checkboxes
• dropdown fields
• custom text inputs
• etc.

Creating Add-ons

To create Add-ons use the Add-ons button on any Art product Submenu at the bottom of the product creation page.

To add your first Add-on, click the "Add Field" button, This will insert a blank Add-on.

(To add additional fields you can click the next Add Field (red outline box) at the bottom and so on).

Select a 'field type' from the topmost select box:

The options are as follows:

• Multiple Choice - This shows a list of options you can choose from. Display as dropdowns, images, or radio buttons.
• Checkboxes - Shows a checkbox or checkboxes that can be ticked/unticked by a customer.
• Short text -  There are five in-built types. This shows a text field where users can enter either any text, just letters, just numbers, both or an email address only.
• Long text - Shows a text field where users can write multiple lines of text (character limit possible)
• Customer Defined Price - This shows a field where users can enter a numerical value that is added to the product price.
• Quantity - This shows a spinner where users can input a number.

Each option above (Multiple Choice, etc.) requires differing boxes that need to be filled in and set up, which for some will not be required and is more or less self-explanatory.
