Vacation Mode

Notably, vacation mode (or holiday mode) applies to your whole art shop. I.e. all your artwork.

Also, this mode is only available with Monthly Plus and Yearly Plus plans. It is NOT offered with the Basic Plan.

The vacation mode can be used for any period where you wish to retain your shop live on the web but you want a break. You can, therefore, just shut down your sales temporarily and make customers aware you are having a rest or whatever. It is suitable for holidays and illness periods in the main.

Vacation mode settings:

Go to Dashboard Settings > Vacation Mode

Enable Vacation Mode: Click to switch on.

Disable Purchasing During Vacation: Click to prevent customers from making a purchase from your shop.

Vacation Type: Choose from

1. Instantly Close - if using remember to switch back on when you are ready!

2. Date Wise Close - This adds a 'from date' box and an 'Upto date' box.

Vacation Message: We have added an example message:

"My SCOTSY art shop is temporarily closed til 'x' October 2023 due to illness. Apologies."

Front End Display

Artist Shop Page:

Your Artist Shop Page screenshot above shows the Vacation Message in a green bar (highlighted with a yellow rectangle for display).

View all Artworks and, Category Pages:

All pages in the Front End with your art products will show the "Vacation Message" in a blue box (highlighted again with yellow rectangles in the image above for display purposes).
